Heidi Gee is a Clinical Counsellor and Psychosexual Therapist with more than 15 years’ experience. She supports individuals and couples to improve their relationships, sexual wellbeing and overall quality of life. As a Clinical Registered Counsellor with PACFA. She holds a Master of STIs, HIV and Sexual Health (Psychosexual Therapy) from the University of Sydney as well as, a Bachelor of Social Science (Counselling) from ACAP.

Heidi believes that everyone deserves fulfilling relationships and a satisfying intimate life. She provides a warm, non-judgemental and evidence-based approach to therapy, supporting people to explore concerns with confidence, compassion and practical strategies.

Heidi works with a wide range of sexual concerns, including:

As a Gottman-trained relationship therapist, Heidi works with couples to strengthen communication, rebuild connection and navigate challenges such as differing levels of desire, conflict, trust, intimacy and life transitions. She also welcomes people in polyamorous, consensually non-monogamous and open relationships.

Heidi has extensive experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community and has supported people living with HIV and herpes for many years. She provides affirming, inclusive care where clients feel safe to discuss all aspects of their identity, relationships and sexuality.

A unique area of Heidi’s practice is supporting people living with disability, including spinal cord injury, acquired brain injury and other neurological conditions, to navigate the physical, emotional and relational impacts these experiences can have on intimacy, sexuality and relationships. She welcomes self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants.

Alongside psychosexual and relationship therapy, Heidi is experienced in supporting people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, domestic and family violence, and sexual assault. Her trauma-informed approach recognises the important connection between emotional wellbeing, relationships and sexual health.

Heidi draws on evidence-based approaches including Gottman Method couples therapy, emotionally focused therapy (EFT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy and person-centred counselling. She tailors therapy to each individual and couple, helping clients build stronger relationships, greater self-understanding and a more satisfying intimate life.
