Dr Christopher Fox is offering new clinical supervision opportunities for the new year. Read below to find out more and how you can apply.

2025 will see an expansion of the clinical supervision offerings. My approach is to provide supportive, instructive and facilitative relationship to enhance the therapeutic process.

The focus in supervision is three-fold:

I have an integrative approach, and draw on psychodynamic approaches to therapy. Including, Berne, Adler, humanist existentialist, Rogerian and solution-focussed work. As well my practice is heavily influenced by systems (Satir, Bowen)/family and relationship therapy.

As my supervision books fill, I have decided to also offer group supervision to maximise opportunities.

Clinical Supervision Sessions Available

Individual Clinical Supervision
Open to general therapy (psychologists, social workers, OTs, counsellors, mental health practitioners) or psychosexual therapy (psychosexual/sex therapists, sexologists, sexual health counsellors). Sessions are available on a regular or ad-hoc basis. I am available Tuesdays to Fridays for individual sessions or enquire for a different time.

Psychosexual Therapy Group Supervision is open to existing psychosexual/sex therapists/sexologists.  There are in-person in Collingwood (1630-1800 3rd Tuesday of the month) and online (1600-1730 2nd Tuesday of the month) groups available. Groups limited to six participants.

Emerging Therapist Group Supervision is aimed at recently graduate therapists (psychologists, social workers, OTs, counsellors, mental health practitioners). As well therapist with less than five years practise experience can also attend. The Emerging Therapist Group Supervision will be offered in-person in Collingwood (1600-1730 3rd Thursday of the month) and online (1500-1730 4th Thursday of the month).

Outer Barcoo:  Rural and Remote Supervision is a general supervision group for practitioners in rural and remotes areas of Australia.  The group will focus on practise issues and practice issues with a rural and remote lens. The two-hour groups will focus on traditional supervision and add a professional development aspect as well.  This is an online only group, taking place on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 1430-1630. Groups are limited to six participants.
